Fall sessions begins the Tuesday after Labor Day


DDC Tiny Tots---2-3 years of age
Dancers in this class take a 45 minute class discovering creative movement through the dance disciplines Ballet and Tap. These students will discover basic positions of the feet, technique, body alignment, and rhythm in a fun-filled environment.
Class Time: See schedule of class on the home page
Dress: Any color leotard and tights-skirt optional
Shoes: Pink ballet shoes and Black tap shoes


DDC Tots---3-5 years of age
Dancers in this class take an hour-long combination class of Ballet and Tap dance. These little movers discover creative movement and self-expression through make believe and dance. They will progress in technique, rhythm, body alignment, and spatial awareness in a high energy class.

Dress: Any color leotard and tights-skirt optional
Shoes: Pink ballet shoes and Black tap shoes


DDC Kids Hip-Hop---5-11 years of age
Dancers in this class study the culture of street dancing in an hour-long dance class. These movers will discover multiple genres like Voguing, Wacking, Locking, Popping, Break-Dancing, B-Boy/B-Girl, etc…styles of dance. Students will explore different rhythms and choreography in an upbeat class!

Dress: Basketball shorts, sweat pants, leggings, t-shirt, or tank top
Shoes: Tennis shoes

DDC Kids---5-8 years of age
Dancers in this class have a choice of an hour-long combination Ballet and Tap class or an hour and a half long combination class of Ballet, Tap, and Jazz.
1 hour: Ballet and Tap combination classes explore creativity, technique, alignment, rhythm, and spatial awareness at a more advanced level. These students also explore and demonstrate self-expression in dances and performances as well as gain self-esteem.
1.5 hour: Ballet, Tap, and Jazz Combination classes do the same as the Ballet and Tap 1 hour class but also discover new dance vocabulary, dance choreography & moves. Jazz will help in fostering a versatile dancer promoting individuality in an upbeat classroom environment.

DDC Kids---8-12 years of age
Dancers in this class study Ballet, Tap, and Jazz at an intermediate level. These students will continue to refine and perfect technique from previous years as well as explore new concepts through movement. These students also discover more vocabulary, discipline, creativity, performance, and self-esteem.

Pre-Teens 11-13
Dancers in this class study Ballet, Tap, and Jazz at an intermediate level. These students will continue to refine and perfect technique from previous years as well as explore new concepts through movement. These students also discover more vocabulary, discipline, creativity, performance, and self-esteem.
Ballet: Monday 6-7pm
Tap: Monday 5:30-6pm
Jazz: Monday 7-7:45pm

DDC Kids and Pre-Teens---9-12 years of age
Dancers at this level have a few more choices, we encourage students to take combinations of Ballet, Tap, & Jazz but they may also take specialty classes such as Hip-Hop and or Technique and Pom/Cheer Dance Classes. Class length depends on specific disciplines.

Ballet: An hour-long class. These students will gain proficiency in grace and poise while working on technique and body alignment. Students will explore story telling through literal and abstract movement. Ballet will provide strength to all disciplines and is highly encouraged at DDC!
Dress: Any color leotard and tights-skirt optional
Shoes: Pink Ballet Shoes

Tap: 30 minute class. Students will continue to work on technique, wings, pulls backs, time steps and variations, complex rhythms, and spatial awareness. Students will also demonstrate self-expression for performance.
Dress: Any color leotard and tights-skirt optional or in tap can wear black yoga pants or boy cut briefs
Shoes: Black Tap Shoes


Jazz: 45 minute class. Students will continue to study new vocabulary and movement as well as core training through Pilates and Yoga during warm-up. Students will continue to become proficient with technical, alignment, connection of movement, and performance.
Dress: Any color leotard and tights. *May also wear black yoga pants or boy cut briefs.
Shoes: Tan Jazz Shoes

Hip-Hop: Dancers in this class study the culture of street dancing in an hour-long dance class. These movers will discover multiple genres like Voguing, Wacking, Locking, Popping, Break-Dancing, B-Boy/B-Girl, etc…styles of dance. Students will explore different rhythms and choreography in an upbeat class!

Technique Class: 1 hour-long class. Dancers who are new or need extra help are encouraged to take this class to work on components such as leaps, turns, jumps and choreography sequencing.

Dress: leggings, boy cut briefs, black yoga pants, t-shirt, tank top, leotard, or tights
Shoes: Jazz shoes or bare feet

Poms/Cheer Dance: 1 hour-long class. This class is tailored to precision and execution for technical proficiency which is important for anyone interested in Poms, Cheerleading, or Dance/Drill Teams. Students will explore: pirouettes, leaps, turns, jumps, fouettes, arm motions, and choreography. This class is typically offered over the summer session but is available for specific groups and private instruction for teams and individuals. Please email for more information on class times.
